Helping Students Discover Their Unique Potential
This program addresses the needs of students whose behavioral issues interfere with the learning process. Though behavioral difficulties are the primary reason for placement in the BEP Program, some of these students are also struggling with serious learning disabilities.
Academic classes and life skills are taught in the morning with the majority of the students attending Vocational Region 10 or participating in a community experience in the afternoon. Weekly support is provided by a social worker. Parent involvement has also been a key element to student success.
Students are admitted to the Bold Endurance Program through a referral process overseen by the Director of Special Services and the Secondary Coordinator of Special Services with input from the BEP staff.
This program is taught by 9th year teacher Matt Haskell
